Hi,

I am suffering quite considerably this week, and browsing the endo sites I came across this story. I've only been fighting this illness for two years, co I can not imagine what poor Kristi went through. But I have certainly entertained thoughts of suicide.

Endo has taken almost every joy from my life: 1. singing: can't sing because of the abdominal pain 2. acting: going to any intense place, happy or sad, brings more pain 3. going to see live music: the loudness causes pain eventually. So the thought does occur: WHY LIVE???

I do have one joy left, writing. I can write about the life I remember before this disease consumed every waking minute of my life.

This disease cannot take our ability to express ourselves through writing! KEEP AT IT ALL YOU GREAT ENDO-BLOGGING GIRLS! :)

Steph,

Thank you making me aware of this tragic story. I firmly believe that it is important to share this story as widely as possible so that, hopefully, no one else will have to suffer this way again. I have been posting the news link on Facebook periodically and I posted this story on my blog as well. I have recently noticed a troubling surge of searches entering my blog (as explained in my post). Let's hope by sharing this story we can help prevent further such tragedies.
