I think the depression issue is going to be one of the biggest obstacles in all treatments which address the hormone influence on endo. I'm fairly certain that if I were not on antidepressants myself right now that I would be a bit more nuts than I already am because of the birth control pills I'm on. I wonder if the pills used real hormones instead of synthesized one if it would make a difference in mental stability. Sorry I've been out of contact.
